E3 2014: What's Coming for Video Games This Year

What's Coming for Video Games This Year

E3, or the Electronic Entertainment Expo, is the 20th annual trade show for video games and gaming tech. The event takes place on Tuesday, June 10th at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and you can watch a live stream of the event on Twitch.

Some of the most anticipated games that will be at E3 2014 include, but are not limited to, The Last Guardian, Shadow of the Colossus, and Star Wars Battlefront.

Other games not mentioned in the video that have fans everywhere excited include Assassin's Creed Unity, Evolve, and Mass Effect 3.

Sony's Project Morpheus

While not directly related to the Matrix, Sony is set to debut the latest prototype of their virtual reality headgear: Project Morpheus.

The VR device was announced two months ago, and after the excitement from Oculus Rift proved successful, E3 attendees are curious to see the Sony version.

Personally, the idea of virtual reality for video games could have drastic effects for the industry, and I'm excited to find more about Project Morpheus as the E3 videos roll in this week.

You can stay up to date with all of the E3 happenings over on the official E3 Insider site, and even watch a live stream of the event.
