Amazon Prime is a yearly subscription service that offers free two-day shipping as well as free streaming of Amazon Video's movie and TV show catalog, which includes their original award-winning series Transparent.
To celebrate Amazon's first big in-house show taking home 5 Emmy awards, Amazon will sell Prime subscriptions, good for one year, for $67 (normally $99) only on Friday, September 25th (from 12:00 am ET to 11:59 pm PT). This should come as no surprise, since they previously reduced the cost of Prime membership for one day after Transparent took home some Golden Globes back in January.
If you haven't yet taken the plunge, now is a great time to do so. For what amounts to just $5.58/month, you'll have access to a huge (and expanding) movie and TV show library, millions of songs available for ad-free streaming, unlimited cloud storage for photos, over 800,000 free eBooks, early access to deals, and more.
Pro tip: Amazon allows you to set up one other person on your Prime account, called Amazon Household, so grab a buddy and split the savings even further! Just be aware that either person has access to the other's payment cards when checking out on Amazon.
